Evidence Based Approach
What to excpect on your first visit
Your first appointment begins with a detailed consultation and movement assessment to understand the cause of your pain and how it may be affecting your daily activity, training, or work. Treatment will begin during the same session and may include hands-on therapy, mobility work, and guidance on rehabilitation exercises where appropriate.
Appointments take place in a private studio gym in Rowledge, providing a quiet and professional environment without the distractions of a busy commercial gym or clinic. The space allows for both hands-on treatment and movement-based assessment, meaning we can properly assess how your body moves and tailor treatment and rehabilitation to your specific needs.
By the end of the session, you will have a clearer understanding of your injury and the steps needed to help you recover and return to activity with confidence.
What people are saying
“I’ve had a really positive experience with Mike. I first went in for lower back pain and the treatment was practical and tailored to what I needed.
I later returned for tennis elbow and the treatment made a noticeable difference immediately. Mike also gave me clear exercises to work on at home which have helped keep me out of pain.
Overall, Mike is knowledgeable, professional and easy to work with.”
“Mike is a great physio, friendly and very knowledgeable.
I felt better from the very first session, and he explained things in a way that actually made sense. And I went back to the gym the following day!
Also lovely studio with easy parking too.
Highly recommend!”
“I was recommended Mike by a friend who had used him for a while and I am glad I did. I sit at a desk a few days a week and as such suffer with neck and upper back pain. Every session has resulted in relief and reduction of tension in those areas and I also sleep much better. Highly recommend Mike!”
